Announcing our new Perth campus!

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new Perth campus at Level 4, 12 St George's Terrace, Perth, WA 6000. This new campus is approved for the delivery of courses offered by both IHM and HCLA. Programs that will be launched include ELICOS, EAP, GDN and GCN, with more courses on offer soon. With the first batch scheduled to commence in October 2018, enrolments are already under way for these popular Nursing and English education courses.

Perth as the capital city of Western Australia is being promoted by the Australian Government as the "Gateway to Australia", and is envisaged to become a globally connected city that will grow as a sustainable business and tourism destination in the next decade.


HCI Australia bags coveted Global Award for Excellence!

Health Careers International Pty Ltd (IHNA), has received the distinguished McMillan Woods Global Awards “Nursing & Healthcare Training Excellence” Award 2018. McMillan Woods Global Awards recognize and reward the contributions of outstanding corporate leaders in leading companies to success, despite the challenges in the global economic landscape.

IHNA’s CEO Mr Kunnumpurath Bijo received the award at a well-attended function held on the 23rd May 2018 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This award is a well-deserved recognition of Health Careers' commitment to quality education in the Health and Nursing sector.

HCI Australia’s First Training Centre Inaugurated in Mumbai!

Health Careers Institute Pvt Ltd, a division of leading Australian Education and Training Provider Health Careers International, has inaugurated its first International Training Centre in Mumbai on Friday the 20th April 2018.Our CEO Mr Bijo Kunnumpurath spoke at the occasion. The event, held at the Masina Hospital, Mazgaon, Mumbai, at 10.30 a.m., was very well attended. Masina Hospital is one of Mumbai’s oldest and most renowned heritage multi-specialty hospitals, and the Health Careers Training Centre will offer training and education programs from India and Australia to train the next generation of healthcare workers in Maharashtra.


HCI Australia Launches Language Academy at Parramatta

Health Careers recently launched its much awaited Health Careers Language Academy (HCLA) at Parramatta in the heart of CBD. This is the third school of its kind in the city and Mr. Jijo Mathew, Campus Manager as well as his team members have been instrumental in its accomplishment.

The prime focus of HCLA is on quality English education to serve as a pathway to IHNA & IHM programs primarily. HCLA also aims to further expand its services by offering pathway options for Health Science students in Universities as well as foundation programs in the future. HCLA is also commencing OET training programs for IHNA & IHM students who undertake Diploma of Nursing & Graduate Diploma of Nursing programs.


HCI Australia enters strategic new partnership with Maharashtra Nursing Council!

Health Careers has forged a partnership with Maharashtra Nursing Council to deliver world-class Continuous Nursing Education (CNE) and professional development training for nurses in Maharashtra, India. The partnership will facilitate CNE and training for the 2,00,000 strong nursing workforces in the state. Health Careers will work in collaboration with hospitals across the state to deliver workshops for professional development for nurses on-site. To support continuous training for nurses, Heath Careers will also offer nurses unlimited access on-line to nursing resources and further CNE programs. Health Careers' high quality training programs will assist nurses to complete 5 CNE training points each year.


OET - HCI Australia Collaboration

Health Careers is proud to announce our collaboration with Occupational English Test (OET) owners, Cambridge Box Hill Language Assessment Pty Ltd (CBLA) for the development of English language courses and teaching materials. A memorandum of understanding was signed by both parties on the 11th of May 2016.

Collaborative course development projects will benefit students both in Australia and in a number of key international markets such as India, the Middle East and East Asia. HC’s IHNA and Institute of Health and Management (IHM) have a proven track record of excellence in nurse education. OET shares HC’s mission to ensure nurses acquire English language skills through contextualised learning during their courses, with the aim of taking an OET test to become registration and work-ready on graduation. Such a tie-up will enhance patient safety and quality of care in the long term.


Partnership with Apollo MedSkills

As part of its initiative to promote healthcare education and develop specialised skills in the healthcare industry, HCIG has tied up with Apollo Medskills, the skills training division of Apollo Hospitals in India. Apollo MedSkills is a joint venture set up by Apollo Hospitals and the National Skill Development Corporation(NSDC).

Dr. P Srinivasa Rao, CEO of Apollo MedSkills and HCI CEO Bijo Kunnumpurath have signed a contract to promote HCI's Post Graduate Diploma at three Apollo MedSkill Centres in India commencing from May. Students who are trained by HCIG can get international exposure with respect to courseware and learning resources. They will be given international certification on successful completion of each course.


HCI Learning Hub Launch

Health Careers International Pty Ltd has launched the HCI Learning Hub in Kochi at a well attended function. The first Learning Hub of HCI in India, this is a student portal which offers flexible learning opportunities for healthcare professionals. Comprehensive learning curriculums, extensive resources, an online forum, special tutorials and seminars can now be accessed virtually. Students can upgrade their skills, attend classes led by experienced international educators and learn the latest global techniques in clinical practice.

The first course to be launched is the Graduate Certificate in Nursing, which is offered as a one-year part time blended learning course. The course comprises an instructor-led class once a week at our campus, and self paced e-learning modules that cover the course syllabus.
